Social Media Manager – Buffalo Sands

Reporting to Board of Directors
Can be one or more persons working together to fill position

Responsible for;
-managing inputs and pages within BS Website
-Coordinating Instagram ‘What’s Happening Buffalo Sands” social media presence
-Coordination with Facebook ‘What’s Happening Buffalo Sands” social media presence
-Note the Website will have assorted sources of each page, it does not necessarily have to be
developed and completed by the Social Media Manager.
-For example, the Social components will come from the Social Committee Manager,
Governance components will come from the BS Board, etc
-The Instagram social media presence will have a script to complete at regular intervals about routine topics including;

  1. weather
  2. social events
  3. community meetings / Board Meetings
  4. community pictures
  5. other / etc.

You will work with direction and guidance from the board
You will work closely with the web developer who will greatly assist in updating pages with you.

Experience / skills required
-Interest in social media
-interest in Buffalo Sands – preferably a resident or family member of a resident
-no previous website or Instagram site maintenance, necessary
-literate with word processing software, typing, texting
-must have a computer or laptop or tablet minimally to access and possibly upload sites
